Hi Tony
Picked up a signed copy of 'Daft Yorkshire Fairy Tales' yesterday and realised that I used to teach you at Greenfield Street. I arrived there at Easter 1966 so I didn't teach you for long. Great to read about your success and to know you still live in Hyde. It would be good to get in touch again. All the best.

Hello Tony, can you tell me the story of your Punch cartoon, July 1989 concerning the solicitors name, bastard, bastard bastard knight and bastard, solicitors, if there is one.
Thank you.

Hi Tony
You recently came to Chrishall Primary School, I unfortunately missed your visit as I don't work on a Friday but I just want to say thanks for the visit. The children really enjoyed it - and been talking about it everyday. We celebrated World Book Day this week, and as one of the children read their story, another child in the group drew illustrations to accompany the story - so definitely inspired. Also, thank you for the picture you drew for me to celebrate my hen do/ forthcoming marriage. I shall be framing it.

Shrewsbury is very excited that you are coming! I was a particularly devoted fan of Round the Bend. Peculiar though it was!

Hi Tony,

On YOBS you write: "It's been great fun getting revenge on some skins who beat me up in the early 70's."

Well, actually, I'm a Skinhead and I love the comics. And so do a lot of my Skinhead friends. ;)

Keep up the great work,

Hi saw you on the telly this evening , very moved by your story about your son . I've admired your cartoons for a long time .
You've come a long way since our discussions about who was the the best the Stones or the Beatles . We both had hair way back in our Greenfield school days .

Bravo Tony for your brill cartoons in Private Eye. But the inspirational story on BBC Breakfast of your love and support for your courageous son in his recovery moved me. Amazing testimony of a parent's love for their child.

Surely it's Music, wine, tortoises, Manchester United, golf (no offence to tortoises).
Thanks for a great night tonight at Ramsbottom Civic Hall.
I managed to snag one of your sketches which made it even better.
